Basic information about Kitesurf Nation.

Kitesurf Nation is a community website where people can list, find, and contact owners of kitesurf boards and related watersports equipment.
No. Boards are listed by users. Kitesurf Nation helps users find and contact each other, but does not own, inspect, rent, manage, or guarantee the boards.
You can browse listings without an account. You need an account to post a board, message an owner, or leave a review.

Finding and contacting owners

How to find a board and arrange details directly with the owner.

Find a board, open the listing, and message the owner directly. Confirm availability, board condition, pickup and return details, price, deposit, and damage responsibility before meeting.
Login helps reduce spam and makes communication safer for board owners and users.
Not currently. Payments, deposits, refunds, and booking arrangements are made directly between users.
The listing shows a pickup location or area. Confirm the exact pickup and return place directly with the owner. We recommend meeting in a safe public place such as a beach, station, marina, shop, or landmark.

Sharing a board

How to create and manage your own board listing.

Register or log in, click Share Board, add the board title, pickup location, price, description, and photos, then submit the listing.
You need to be logged in before creating a listing so the board can be connected to your account.
Add clear photos, board type, size, brand/model if known, condition, pickup location, price, included parts, and any important notes such as repairs, deposit expectations, or availability.
Upload clear photos of the actual board. Include the full board and any important details such as damage, fins, straps, handle, repairs, foil parts, or accessories.
Use JPEG, JPG, or PNG images. You can upload up to 3 images, with a maximum of 5 MB per image.
Yes. Log in, open your listing, and use the edit or delete option if you are the listing owner.
Yes. If you want to share a board for free, set the price to 0 and explain the details in the description.
Not for now. Kitesurf Nation is focused on sharing and rental, not buying and selling. If this changes in the future, we may add a separate option for sale listings.

Safety and responsibility

Important safety, inspection, damage, and responsibility questions.

No. Kitesurf Nation does not inspect, certify, or guarantee listed equipment. Users should inspect the board before use and ask the owner about damage, repairs, missing parts, and included accessories.
Kitesurf Nation does not currently provide insurance, damage protection, or dispute resolution. Owners and renters should agree on damage, loss, theft, late return, cleaning, and replacement responsibility before pickup.
Use the Contact form or email contact@kitesurfnation.com. For emergencies, theft, injury, or immediate danger, contact local authorities first.

Troubleshooting

Common form and listing submission issues.

Please check that all required fields are completed correctly.

For a new listing, make sure:

  • The title is 5–100 characters.
  • The pickup location is selected from the search results or placed on the map.
  • The price is a valid number and not negative.
  • The description is 10–3000 characters.
  • At least one image is uploaded.
  • Images are JPEG, JPG, or PNG.
  • You uploaded no more than 3 images.
  • Each image is 5 MB or smaller.

If the problem continues, try refreshing the page and submitting again. If it still does not work, contact us at contact@kitesurfnation.com.
